Parenting Class for Divorce in Florida

This is a Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course which is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families, and satisfies the requirements of all Family Courts in Florida.

Under Florida Statutes 61.21, if you are divorcing and have minor children, you must attend at least a four (4) hour in person Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course, approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families, prior to obtaining a divorce.

Please note that on-demand online courses are not accepted by the Family Courts (unless under special circumstances or permission from the Judge) in the following counties; Brevard, Charlotte, Clay, Collier, Duval, Escambia, Glades, Hendry, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lee, Martin, Nassau, Okaloosa, Okeechobee, Pasco, Pinellas, Santa Rosa, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Lucie, and Walton County.

If your case is in any of the counties listed, you [are] required to attend a traditional in-person classroom course , or attend a live in-person video conference course.
