Parenting Class for Divorce in Florida

This is a Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course, approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families. This course is offered live and in-person, and on-demand online. The live in-person course satisfies the requirements of those Family Courts requiring live in-person attendance. The on-demand online course satisfies the attendance requirement of all other Family Courts in Florida.

Under Florida Statutes 61.21; if you are divorcing and have minor children, or involved in a paternity case with minor children, you must attend at least a four (4) hour in person Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course, approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families, prior to obtaining a divorce. Generally you have 45 days from the date you filed for divorce, or was served with divorce papers, to take this course. However we urge you to take this course as soon as possible.

The class starts and stops at a specified time, and the instructor is a real live person, who interacts with you, in real time.
