Overview

This course introduces practitioners to the basics of cloud computing & cyber security and provides practical guidance on implementing a basic cyber security plan which may help you protect your business and reduce the risk of a cyber attack. We will also discuss the core concepts of cloud computing including the pros and cons of implementing cloud computing in your practice. Here we identify the essential characteristics of cloud computing, its history, the business case for cloud computing, and emerging technology use cases enabled by the cloud. We will also introduce you to some of the popular service providers of cloud services (example AWS, Microsoft, and Google), and learn about the various cloud service models.
